Every Saturday morning, members from our team travel to Belle Glade to spend time with the children and families in the local communities of Belle Glade. The children we serve live in Palm Beach County's most at-risk neighborhoods due to poverty levels, school readiness, graduation rates, teen birth rates, breakdown of family, violence, and a problem with fatherlessness.

In partnership with Refuge Church FL & Urban Youth Impact, we are able to show the children and families love and provide them with resources throughout the year. Some of the activities we participate in are weekly outreaches consisting of games, snacks, crafts, and a devotion; quarterly field trips to different places including paintball, fishing, trampoline parks, and Drive Shack; holiday community events; and more.

Through the time and relationships we have formed with the children and families in these communities, we have been able to help them with back-to-school supplies, Thanksgiving meals, gift cards for Christmas shopping, and other seasonal supplies. All of this is funded through donations from generous donors. We are currently involved in 6 neighborhoods throughout Belle Glade. We are in the process of fundraising for a van in order to continue our young men's program, launch a young women's program, as well as begin a couple of other programs we are working on. A lack of transportation in the inner-city can be very inhibiting for our programs.
